Storytime
When I arrived to NL during COVID, ways to connect were limited. So I got creative when hunting for local artists;
I met Lily (blue hair) in Bilthoven, NL while we both worked as Au Pairs. She was a recent graduate of Opera back in Mexico and came to the NL looking for success. It was inevitable that we met. I became her 'manager' and together we created 3 music videos for her music endeavours. This being the 1st one.
Mario (pink hair) was found after we spotted a bass, a guitar and a keyboard through a window in the streets of Utrecht. We rang the door bell, introduced ourselves and asked for a collab. Mario couldn't resist our impulsive actions and joined without hesitation.
Pepijn (orange hair) was spotted coming out of a train with a big drum. I walked up to him and asked the story of his instrument. He answered with: 'It's a Shamanic Drum' and my Mexican roots almost made me jump. We exchanged a few words, I asked him to collab and he invited me to his house to 'audition' for me. He didn't know he was already chosen.
Lars (yellow hair) was found in Bumble. (we had to get creative when hunting for artists) He had in his description he was a drummer and we matched him to get in contact with him.
His brother Niels (green hair) helped us out as Sound Engineer during the recordings.
