MIRRORS

by Jaqueline Zamora

A compilation of poems written each day for 20 days.

Every morning, every evening and every night of our lives is different and nothing like the previous one.

These poems are an invitation into the life of a 23-year-old Mexican girl in the Netherlands.

If seen as a timeline, it is proof that change is the only constant thing in our lives. When you’re going through a difficult stage, it is important to note that nothing is static.

This is my personal timeline written in prose. It will become the book on my shelf that will take me back to my early 20s, when I became brave and bold.

For the first time, I feel like I'm doing what I want instead of what I should
