Remedios Varo was a spanish woman who reside in Mexico after she fled. away from the Spanish Civil War. She got a green pass from her 1st and only husband, Gerardo Lizarraga, to flee away with her french lover Benjamin Peret, who later abandoned her when he was being a total brat because he refused to learn spanish. He ended up going back to Paris to continue up close the surrealist movement, alongside his best friend André Breton.

Remedios, instead of crying for the bastard, got herself a 12 y.o younger lover that took her to Venezuela where they remained for 2 years, before coming back and settling in Mexico until her death.

This and many other surrealist stories were what made me become a fan of Remedios Varo. I suffered the Varo's fever for at least 4 months, digging and researching her art and life obsessively. I made this Vynil imagining I found a never before seen archive of recordings from Varo herself, explaining the stories behind her paintings.
